As winter remorselessly rolls in, city dwellers still clutching onto summer memories should be warmed at the thought of Yangzhou's inaugural hot springs festival this December.
Yangzhou, known regionally as the Hot Springs City in the Yangtze River Delta, offers escapees a range of revitalizing bathing services and a beautiful scenery of green trees and pristine lakes.
Tianle Lake Hot Spring has jumped on the act early and offers visitors the chance to enjoy the distinctive Yangzhou physiotherapy and special Thai SPA hydrotherapy from Nov 24 to the end of the December.
The outdoor hot springs are tastefully scattered around the scenic lakeside, often secluded behind dense gardens, providing bathers privacy. Additionally, the hot spring center has indoor swimming pools, play pools for children, several massage areas, and comfortable rest rooms.
Aside from the refreshing hot springs, the resort offers an array of recreational opportunities promoting a green and healthy lifestyle. Among the range of activities offered are a thrilling rope course, the chance to ride at the horse farm, something for speed demons at the go-karting track, and more leisurely pursuits in angling and peaceful camping sites.

For families with children, the amusement valley is certainly a perfect place to entertain the little ones and get them to soak up the lively atmosphere. Children can try their hand at water golf, kayaking, rock climbing, and many more exciting activities.
