"Yangzhou's Three Knives", or "Yangzhou Sanbadao" in Chinese, refers to three kinds of knives--the kitchen knife, pedicure knife and haircut knife. The kitchen knife represents the food service industry; the pedicure knife is the bath industry; the haircut knife is the beauty industry.
The three industries, after nearly 300 years of development, have become points of reference to the city's traditional culture.
Yangzhou Sanbadao was listed among the provincial-level intangible cultural heritages in Jiangsu province in 2007.

Dongguan Street
It is an important 1,100-meter-long thoroughfare in Yangzhou dating back to the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Currently it is a historic arcade of arts, crafts and local snacks.
