Douye Pavilion
The Douye Pavilion was first built in the North Song Dynasty (960-1137) by the side of Shaobo Lake and was rebuilt in 2001.
A collection of calligraphic works by four renowned calligraphers of the Song Dynasty (960-1279) – Su Shi, Huang Tingjian, Mi Fu and Cai Xiang – is exhibited in the pavilion. Verses by seven Song Dynasty poets, such as Su Dongpo and Su Zhe, are carved on its walls.
