With the 10th Jiangsu Horticultural Expo opening on Sept 28 in Yizheng, Yangzhou, the organizing committee has launched three recommended tour routes for people with different needs.
"Visitors can get a free map once they enter the park, with all the three routes," said Feng Hao, a staff member in charge of tourist services.
Two-hour Tour
Target people: elderly and visitors from other cities who don't have a lot of time
This route recommends tourists to visit the three must-see areas of the park – the main exhibition hall, Yuanye Garden and Yangzhou Garden – in no more than two hours.
Half-a-day Tour
Target people: visitors travelling with family
On the basis of the two-hour tour, the organizing committee gives thumbs up to a half-a-day tour, which allows tourists to visit an extra array of 13 exhibition gardens demonstrating the diversified features of Jiangsu cities.
Electrical sightseeing buses are available at the park, enabling tourists to get a quick but enjoyable tour around the gardens.
One-day Tour
Target people: shutterbugs, nature lovers and culture lovers
For a more thorough tour around the park, the organizing committee recommends an additional boat ride on the lake, sure to offer tourists a different touch of natural landscapes.
Tourists can also get a cultural immersion through the various exhibitions scattering around the park, such as the exhibitions on calligraphy and painting works, on intangible cultural heritages, and all kinds of interactive performances.
