The 4th Yangzhou International Lighting Festival will open at Marco Polo Flowers Ocean Theme Park in Yangzhou, in eastern Jiangsu province, on July 20, and will last until Aug 25.
Besides tremendous light shows and lanterns, this year's festival also includes a food bazaar, singing and dancing performances, acrobatics and an intangible cultural heritage exhibition, as well as fireworks every Saturday during the event.
Additionally, outdoor swimming pools and an ice and snow world will give visitors a moment away from the summer heat.
