Books on the culture of Yangzhou, Jiangsu province, have proven popular during the 10th Jiangsu Book Fair, which opened in Suzhou on July 23 and will last until July 27.
Over 160 books from Yangzhou's Guanglin Press are displayed at the fair to reveal local customs and practices to the public, according to Liu Dong, deputy director of the publishers.
The most attractive book exhibited at the fair by Guanglin Press is Yang Zhou Shi Yuan Lin Zhi (The History of Yangzhou's Gardens).
The book, published by Guanglin Press, tells the history and stories about famous Yangzhou-style gardens, which were collected by several generations of experts and researchers.

"We feel a little nervous about promoting Yangzhou's scenic areas in Suzhou, which is also known for its charming gardens," said Xu Liang from the management department of He Garden. "But we are confident as Yangzhou-style gardens have their own unique beauty."
Guanglin Press also promoted the book via an online livestreaming event during the fair, which attracted over 13 million visitors.
