Construction started Aug 4 on seven international pavilions for the 2021 International Horticultural Exhibition in Yangzhou.
The seven international pavilions are themed on countries and international organizations, including Budapest Park, Bangkok Park, Djibouti Park, World Green Design Organization Park, Sino-Portugal Tourism Park, World Historic and Cultural Canal Cities Cooperation (WCCO) Park and Sino-South Korea Friendship Park.
Each theme park will showcase the culture and ecology of participating countries.
The International Horticultural Exhibition, the world's top horticultural exhibition, which aims to showcase the latest horticulture technologies and collections, will be held in Yizheng city, Yangzhou, from April 8 to Oct 8, 2021.
With the concept of "showing classic humanities and sharing green life", the Russia St. Petersburg Park will showcase Russian imperial palaces and gardens as well as contemporary humanities and art. The park mainly will display St. Petersburg's advanced technological concepts of urban construction and environmental greening. The Thailand Bangkok Park will showcase that city's Buddhist culture, palace garden culture, and contemporary humanities and arts. Thai-style gardens and buildings, various tropical plants and local specialties and sports will be displayed. [Photo/yznews.com.cn]
