To promote recovery in the rural tourism sector, which has been severely affected by the novel coronavirus outbreak, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs released 50 recommended travel routes in autumn and winter to visitors from around the world.
The 50 travel routes mostly introduced attractive rural areas and characteristic towns in cities in East China's Jiangsu province. Visitors can plan their trips based on the recommendations.
Four of the travel routes include Yangzhou for its beautiful natural scenery and charming cultural deposits.
A two-day tour for visitors to enjoy fishing and picking fruits is recommended in Yangzhou's Guanglin district, including Lidian Fishing Village along the River, Mengshengyuan Ecological Cultural Park, Shatou West Lake Ecological Park and Dongjiang Ecological Farm.
Wetlands parks in Hanjiang district are popular to escape from the summer heat. Visitors can tour the Yanhu Village, North Lake Wetland Par, Jingganquan Ecological Agricultural Park, Jiangwang City Agricultural Sightseeing Park and Runyang Forest Park.
With bamboo forests, the Jiangdu district could provide visitors a relaxing tour along the Yuanyue Manor, Dayu Scenic Bamboo Garden and Bamboo Expo Garden, Baita River Ecological Agricultural Sightseeing Park and Jiangdu District Modern Agriculture Park.
Visitors can also pick berries in Yizheng city when following the route to Naoshan Park, Jiangyang Tianle Lake Ecological, Shuibo Changshan Scenic Area, Baihuiyuan Blackberry Industrial Park and Longshan Forest Park.
