Yangzhou Aviation Exhibition Hall will open to the public in late September, Yangzhou Daily reported on Aug 17.
Located in the Yangzhou Biodiverse and Sci-Tech City, the exhibition hall will be made up of two pavilions and cover an area of 6,000 square meters. It is expected to be a cultural and expo venue integrating aviation science, wetland beauty, as well as national defense education.
Its cultural pavilion will show the history and development of China's aviation industry. A total of 23 models with different proportions of landmark aircrafts in modern Chinese aviation history will be displayed as well.
The experience hall will provide visitors with various activities, such as watching 5G films and taking part in pilot training classes.
As part of the under-construction Yangzhou Aviation Park, the exhibition hall looks like two red lanterns from a distance. Chen Rong, person in charge of the project, said that they integrated elements of traditional Chinese culture into the building.
