The design combines elements such as traditional Chinese clothes, the Grand Canal and the Chinese herbaceous peony to embody the principle of a green city and a healthy life, according to officials.
Zhao Liangping, deputy director of China Flower Association, attended the unveiling ceremony and spoke highly of the preparations Yangzhou has made for the event. Zhao said that the association will continue to support work to build a wonderful and impressive event in Yangzhou.
