A number of tourist attractions in Yangzhou will provide special discounts for visitors from May 19 to 25 in celebration of China Tourism Day, which falls on May 19 every year.
A special 50-percent discount will be offered to popular local tourist attractions on May 19, including Slender West Lake, Daming Temple, the Memorial Hall of the Eight Eccentric Painters of Yangzhou, Yangzhou Hanling Garden, Tang City Ruins, Geyuan Garden, Heyuan Garden, and Cornel Bay. Medical workers can visit Geyuan Garden and Cornel Bay for free with valid certificates.
On that day, visitors will also be able to visit many scenic areas for free, including the Baoying Lake National Wetland Park, Runyang Forest Park, Rain Field Manor, Yangzhou Chinese Herbaceous Peony Garden, Nashan Geopark, Tianle Lake Tourist Resor, Gaoyou Yucheng Station, Qingshui Pool, Tongxing Pawnshop, Longqiuzhuang Ruins Park, Wang's Memorial Hall, Wang Zengqi Memorial Hall and many other State-owned scenic spots.
From May 15 to May 20, Baita Lake Resort in Jiangdu district will offer free entry, with a 20 percent discount on all meals and a 10 percent discount on agricultural products.
Yangzhou citizens can enjoy various perks by presenting their ID cards, residence permits or student ID cards at ticket offices.
