The plush toy industry in Hanjiang district, Yangzhou can date back to the 1950s. After more than half a century of development, it has grown from a small workshop with less than 100 people into an industrial cluster with a relatively complete industrial chain.
In the past 10 years, Hanjiang district has made efforts to develop its plush toy industry to strengthen its economic and cultural development. It has become the plush toy town of China, with more than 300 registered plush toy and gift companies and over 200 well-known cartoon image authorizations.
The Wutinglong International Toy and Gift City is currently the largest, most influential and highest-grade comprehensive plush toy gift distribution center in China, with an annual operating income of over 7.5 billion yuan ($1.12 billion).
