A variety of nighttime activities featuring the city's history and culture were held on July 16 in the Song Jia City Sports and Leisure Park, Yangzhou in East China's Jiangsu province to support its tourism consumption season which ran from July 15 to July 17.
The event also featured six exhibition areas that displayed cultural and creative products under the "Summer in Yangzhou" theme.
Summer in Yangzhou refers to the campaign launched by the local government to boost cultural and tourism consumption in the summer. The campaign is named after a renowned prose by Zhu Ziqing, a famous Chinese writer from Yangzhou.
Over at the night bazaar in the park, visitors could find local produce such as duck eggs and dried bean curd. Sixteen rural tourism routes were also promoted during the event.
The Song Jia City Sports and Leisure Park, which integrates natural landscapes with physical fitness and leisure amenities, is a popular destination among tourists and local citizens.
