Yangzhou in East China's Jiangsu province launched 16 rural tourism routes at the cultural and tourism consumption festival on July 15 to provide new travel experiences for tourists and local residents.
Here are the four of the routes.
Tour of Hanjiang district
Three of the travel routes - a one-day ecological tour, a one-day study tour and a one-day tour themed on the summer - can be found in Hanjiang district.
The ecological tour, which costs 98 yuan ($14) per person, features the Beihu Lake wetland park, Yanhu village and a sika deer base. Call (86) 17751360921 or (86) 17751360936 to make reservations.
Tourists can visit the Zhang Aiping Memorial House and experience fishery culture on the study tour route. The tour costs 80 yuan per person. Visitors can make reservations by calling (86) 13852706069.
Zhang, the late minister of national defense, was in charge of developing atom bombs, hydrogen bombs and man-made satellites in the 1960s in China.
On the summer-themed tour, kids can play aquatic sports at an ecological garden in Huaisi town of Hanjiang district. The tour costs 238 yuan per person and visitors can make reservations by calling (86) 18921906243 or (86) 15396789349.
Tour of Guangling district
On the one-day ecological tour of Guangling district, tourists can pick organic vegetables at an ecological garden. The tour is priced at 88 yuan per person. Reservations can be made by calling (86) 17751360921 or (86) 17751360936.
