An intangible cultural heritage and cultural and creative product fair kicked off in Yangzhou, East China's Jiangsu province on Aug 26 and will run till Aug 30.
City residents will get to experience both intangible cultural heritage and domestic cultural and creative products at the event, which takes place every night from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Dongguan Street and the Huajuli night market.
Visitors will also get to learn more about intangible cultural heritage items such as the guqin (Chinese zither), a seven-stringed plucked instrument with a history of more than 3,000 years, and paper cutting at the fair.
Performances such as local operas, dragon dance and lion dance will be held at Dongguan Street during the fair.
In addition, traditional Yangzhou delicacies including steamed stuffed buns, boiled salted goose and Huangqiao sesame cake can be found at the Huajuli night market.
