A series of activities will be held in Yangzhou, East China's Jiangsu province, to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival that falls on Sept 10 this year, according to local media reports.
Visitors can admire the full moon at Slender West Lake, where activities such as praying for blessings with lotus-shaped lanterns will be held from Sept 9 to 12.
An activity featuring riddle-guessing and Guqinperformances will be held at Huajuli night market near the Geyuan Garden from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm on Sept 10.
Intangible cultural heritage activities where people can learn about engraving printing techniques, paper cutting and dough modeling will be held at Hongqiaofang Fountain Square from 5:30 pm to 9:00 on Sept 9.
Activities about Hanfu, traditional Chinese attire and the Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 220) will be held at the Ancient Tang City Ruins Museum on Sept 10.
Outdoor movie screenings, barbecues and the DIY mooncake events will be held at the Phoenix Wetland Park from Sept 10 to 12.
