One great place to admire autumn views in Yangzhou, East China's Jiangsu province, is Guazhou village in Hanjiang district which is now awash in colors as sunflowers are in full bloom.
The splendid scenes of nature in the village have also been accentuated by the village buildings which feature a series of vivid mural paintings that capture the essence of Yangzhou's culture and history.
Visitors to the village should also check out the Chunjiang Huayueye Art Museum which is located in the vicinity. Named one of the most charming public cultural venues in the province in 2021, the museum showcases a host of Chinese calligraphy works by Zhang Ruoxu, a poet from the Tang Dynasty (618-907).
