The Nashan Mountain Geological Park within Yizheng, a county-level city in Yangzhou, East China's Jiangsu province, is a popular national science base that offers a wide range of immersive and engaging courses about geology, botany and bees to kids.
During a tour of the park, children will get to do a field study of geological relics, create molds that simulate an erupting volcano, and make lipsticks with honeycomb. They will also get to gather plant specimens needed to make moxa sticks.
The Nashan Mountain Geological Park, a national 4A scenic spot, is best known for its stone pillars.
