The Baoying Lake National Wetland Park in Baoying county of Yangzhou, East China's Jiangsu province, was recently included in a provincial program because of its well-appointed sporting facilities.
The park, which offers 30 sporting activities, including orienteering, field survival, hiking and rock climbing, is a good option for those looking to break a sweat while doing outdoor activities.
A national 3A scenic area, the park is also an ecological tourism zone that features 134 hectares of dawn redwood trees that form a stunning sea of red in autumn.
In addition, visitors can do camping and rafting in the dawn redwood forest.
