Yangzhou in East China's Jiangsu province launched a boat tour route on the Grand Canal on Oct 15.
The route showcases various scenic spots, including the Dongguan Ancient Ferry, the Guazhou Ancient Ferry and the Yunhe Sanwan Scenic Spot.
There are two boat rides every day that depart at 9am and 10am. The price of a round-trip ticket is 160 yuan ($22) per person.
The boat ride lasts around 100 minutes and starts from the Dongguan Ancient Ferry terminal. The boat will stop at Guazhou Ancient Ferry terminal for about 100 minutes before returning.
During the stop, visitors can visit places like the Guazhou Gudu Park, an art museum, as well as the Guazhou Pump Station. They can also savor local delicacies like salted goose.
During the return trip, the boat will stop at the YunheSanwan Scenic Area for an hour. The must-see attractions here include the China Grand Canal Museum.
Visitors need to wear masks during the tour and show a negative nucleic acid test result within 48 hours.
Visitors can book tickets through online platforms such as Douyin (the Chinese version of TikTok), Meituan, and Ctrip to enjoy discounts.
