Hairawn muhly, or pink muhlygrass, is now in full bloom in Yangzhou, East China's Jiangsu province. Here are some of the best places to admire the flowers.
Changxing Farm
Located in Yizheng, a county-level city in Yangzhou, the Changxing Farm has a sprawling 80-mu (5.33 hectares) hairawn muhly site that is now completely adorned in pink. The farm has attracted hordes of tourists to take photos.
Fengqihu Park
Situated in the south of Yangzhou, the Fengqihu Park is an ideal place to appreciate hairawn muhly in the city’s urban areas.
Beihu Lake Wetland Park
Located along the Shaobo Lake in Hanjiang district of Yangzhou, the Beihu Lake Wetland Park is also a popular destination to enjoy the stunning views of a sea of pink created by the flower.
Yunhe Sanwan Scenic Spot
The Yunhe Sanwan Scenic Spot constitutes an important part of the Yangzhou section of China Grand Canal, which was listed as a world cultural heritage by UNESCO in 2014. The national 4A scenic attraction is also renowned for its hairawn muhly.
