Yangzhou in East China's Jiangsu province will hold a dragon boat race on June 21 to celebrate Dragon Boat Festival, which falls on June 22 this year.
Eighteen teams will participate in the race, which will be held on the Taiping River within the Seven Rivers and Eight Islands along the Grand Canal, and the top three teams will be awarded prizes.

A launch ceremony where the Seven Rivers and Eight Islands is unveiled as a tourism destination and a haven for cycling will also be held during the event.
In addition, intangible cultural heritage fairs showcasing cultural and creative products such as dough figurines and sugar paintings, folk performances and hanfu shows will be featured during the event.
