Yangzhou in East China's Jiangsu province promoted its tourism industry at the 11th Macao International Travel (Industry) Expo on June 30, showcasing its history, culture and scenic attractions through brochures and cultural and creative products.
The event, covering an area of 23,000 square meters and setting up 886 booths, was attended by 512 travel agencies from 39 countries and regions and included more than 50 promotional events, forums, activities, and online exhibitions.
Kong Lun, deputy director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Bureau of the Culture and Tourism Ministry, expressed hope that Macao will take advantage of the expo to strengthen cooperative ties with Chinese mainland travel enterprises.
