From July 19 to 20, a South Korean travel delegation visited Yangzhou, East China's Jiangsu province, delving into its scenic routes, experiencing distinctive cultural and tourism offerings, and enjoying the summer ambiance of the city.
The delegation, comprising 15 members, boasted a diverse array of participants, including representatives from the Korea Tourism Association, the major Korean newspaper The Chosun Ilbo, prominent Korean travel agencies, and travel bloggers and writers.
Their itinerary was nothing short of captivating. From the iconic China Grand Canal Museum to the tranquil Slender West Lake and the majestic Daming Temple, the delegation traversed through Yangzhou's cultural landmarks, immersing themselves in the city's unique charm as the revered "Culture City of East Asia".
On the morning of July 20, the travel group, alongside representatives from Yangzhou's cultural and tourism industry, convened for a culture and tourism exchange forum.
During this engaging session, the delegation members expressed their newfound appreciation for Yangzhou's rich cultural tapestry, diverse tourism offerings, and delectable cuisine.
