On Oct 12, Yangzhou, Jiangsu province, welcomed a delegation of journalists from Austria to embark on a two-day journey to explore the city's fusion of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology.

On the first day, the delegation conducted on-site visits to major resident enterprises, including Yangzhou Pacific Special Material and Yangzhou Perfect and Myande Group, gaining a glimpse into their development situations, especially their unique strategies and innovative approaches to international trade.
After his visit to COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry (Yangzhou), Martin Sörös, a member of the Austrian journalist group, said he was impressed by Yangzhou's sheer size and robust economic growth, while also expressing his amazement at the size of COSCO.

On the second day, the delegation toured the Mausoleum Park of Sui Emperor Yang Guang, Yangzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Treasure Museum, and the Marco Polo Memorial Hall. Enthralled by the historically-significant exhibits, the dazzling array of intangible cultural heritage handicrafts, and the vivid traces of Yangzhou's historical international exchanges, the visitors were left deeply impressed.
Upon stepping into the Yangzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Treasure Museum, the journalists were treated to a series of mesmerizing performances, including woodblock printing, paper-cuttings, rod puppet shows and the melodious playing of the guqin, a plucked seven-string Chinese musical instrument.
Marlies Eder from the Austrian newspaper Die Presse received a Yangzhou paper-cutting as a gift and expressed her appreciation for the diversity of Yangzhou handicrafts artworks.
