Yangzhou celebrated a charming Chinese New Year combining antiquity with modernity. Dongguan Street became a vibrant hub of cultural activities featuring trendy elements such as music flash mobs, while Renfengli Historical and Cultural Block buzzed with lively lion dances and hanfu parades.

The festive magic extended to other parts of Yangzhou as well. At the Gaoyou Yucheng Postal Stop, caishen (God of Wealth) parades brought blessings and prosperity to the community. In Jiangdu district, waist-drum dance performances added a rhythmic beat to the celebrations.

Nearly 100 opera performances, including Yangzhou Ditty (a form of Chinese folk music), Yangzhou Opera, and puppet shows, rotated through more than 30 popular local venues, delighting over 30,000 people with their artistic splendor and cultural richness.
