Yangzhou locals often flock to Guoqing Road in Guangling district to enjoy some hotpot featuring a variety of salted delights. This type of hotpot is enriched with fresh pork rib broth and premium preserved ingredients, and accompanied by an assortment of salted delicacies like pork ribs, chicken, and trotters.

A beloved beef soup shop on Guangling district's Dukang Road captivates Yangzhou residents. Marinated beef, sliced to order, guarantees peak freshness and irresistible flavor. The broth, brewed from fresh cow bones, encapsulates the pure essence of its ingredients, delivering a rich, satisfying taste.

For beef lovers, a 50-year-old beef soup shop at Dongquanmen Historical Block is also a must-try. It promises authentic flavors with free refills and enhances the dining experience with crispy beef pot stickers dipped in a special chili sauce, adding an extra layer of tantalizing flavor.

Located on Jiangyang West Road in Hanjiang district, a goose soup shop offers a treat with geese that have matured beyond 18 months. The goose meat, along with its head, feet, and internals, are meticulously chopped and slow-cooked, resulting in a seamless fusion with the broth.

In Huchang village, a high-end duck soup shop has been operating for over two decades. The soup, simmered for three hours over a wood fired stove, is mouthwatering and rich in consistency, with tender meat that has absorbed the aroma of the ingredients.
