Thirteen Yangzhou restaurants were listed in the first Michelin Guide for Jiangsu province, which was released in Nanjing on April 9, with one receiving One Michelin Star, seven awarded Bib Gourmand status, and five recognized as Michelin-selected restaurants.

Yangzhou Yan (38 Changchun Road), one of the Bid Gourmand restaurants, is considered a gastronomic delight. It incorporates aspects of Yangzhou's local culture, such as landscapes and opera, into exquisite Huiyang flavors.
In addition, it has introduced an innovative feast named after Wang Zengqi, a renowned modern Chinese novelist and essayist born in Gaoyou, a county-level city of Yangzhou.

Quyuan Teahouse (Changchun Road), one of the Michelin-selected restaurants, has a history of 200 years and is the oldest restaurant for Huiyang cuisine appreciation in Yangzhou, serving mainly traditional and classic Huiyang dishes.
In 2019, the restaurant was renovated to introduce some new pavilions and revamp existing structures. These enhancements better harmonized the restaurant with the natural landscape of the Slender West Lake scenic area, largely restoring its historical appearance.
